On Saturday, MJNL and I drove out to the Mandarin Golf and Country Club for a quick rehearsal of the wedding ceremony. The only thing I really found annoying was that it was taking place at nine and I really wanted to sleep in during this long weekend.
In any case, we got to the club on time and took a look around the area. I think there was another wedding planned for that day, so we could not stay long. However, the weather was really nice (although too hot and humid for me) and we enjoyed the sun.
After the rehearsal, our group went out to eat dim sum at a restaurant near MIBAgentQ's place. It was quite a large group of people so we had to be split up into three tables. I had never been to this restaurant before and the food was fairly tasty.
Some of the girls, including MJNL, were going downtown to the spa, so I had some time to myself, which I used to pick up some Jamaican paddies and a wedding card. I was going to get some spicy ones, but they were out. In fact, the only bags of paddies they had were mixed, and the new batch of paddies the girl brought out were all mild! She mentioned that this virtually never happens, as it is rare for them to make so many mild paddies and have so many defective ones.
I ended up watching Stargate: Continuum while MJNL was out. After she came back, we got packed and headed out to her parent's place. We helped out with some last minute preparations of which I do not remember much (except for going out to pick up pizza). Oh wait, I take it back. I remember watching some television since BL and I ended up folding clothes.
I tried to go to bed early because the girls were getting up for four-thirty to get ready for the hair dresser and I was sure it was going to be noisy even in the basement.
