MJNL went to her sister's bachelorette party this weekend, that meant that I was free to do whatever I wanted!
I ended up cleaning. Specifically, the laundry.
But let me back up. Friday night was your monthly poker night at AI's place. I did not show up too late this time, but I decided not to go out to the bar with AI and EK because I was not really in the mood for bar food, and I had leftovers from Wednesday. Lady luck was not with me that night, and I got stiffed a few times by the river. I only went down one buy in though, so I was happy for that.
On Saturday morning, I got a message from MIBAgentQ asking if I was up for breakfast. Well, I did not have much else to do, except clean, clean, clean, and I wanted to work on my bike anyway, so I headed on up. Along with MIBAgentQ, Durka and Seven showed up, so the four of us had a quick meal before we headed to MIBAgentQ's place where I got my oil changed and the trunk release installed on my bike.
The trunk release took quite some time since my bike was not designed in a very easy way for the servo to engage the latch without taking out the regular key entry. In the end, they took out the key entry and added a string that I could use to open the trunk if the automatic release failed. Of course, this would require opening up my bike..
After that, we headed to an outdoors shop, which name escapes me at the moment. But it started to rain so I rode back home before I got wet (since the rain stopped long enough for me to make it back).
I barely had enough time to do the dishes, a little bit of laundry, eat, and then head out to my parents to tell them the news and drop off some stuff.
Then it was off to hockey. The game was alright, since we only had a couple of the better players show up. But I think we had more of the intermediate players who could last longer on our side so we won out in the end.
I finally had my French toast when I got back from the game, and I had it again the next morning. I finally got around to doing the rest of the laundry and had enough time to go out to pick up some Best Buy gift cards, and some oil to replace the oil I used up at MIBAgentQ's place.
MJNL came back and we went to Windelynn's place for dinner. Derf and Garfield showed up as well and we ate a lot of her food. The BBQs on the roof were all used up though, so we had to wait in line before we were able to cook our dinner.
After we ate, we went to pick up MJNL's cell phone before going home.
