There were two power outages today. One was at work, which lasted around fifteen minutes. The second was at home, and that lasted over two hours! The second power outage took place not long after I finished buying my plane tickets, so the timing was good in that sense. I would have been quite annoyed to have lost all of that information.
Since the blackout killed our dinner plans, we went out for a bike ride around the neighborhood. It took us a while to get to the bicycles since the elevators were out, but we were able to ride around for an hour, come back and shower, and still did not have power restored!
We had little recourse but to get food outside. Funny enough, not long after we left the building, the power came back on. Oh well.
