[8:35 AM EDT - Flat!]
Crap. I walked down to the garage and discovered that my left rear tire was flat. If the tire was on the right hand side, I probably would not have noticed it until I started driving away, which would have been pretty bad for the tire.
Okay, I gotta go fix it. I wonder who is open right now..

Hmm, hopefully (or not) it was a prankster who just let the air out?
Not that I've used them but those fix-a-flat spray cans which seal and reinflate your tires would be handy in a scenario like this.

Yeah, I found a screw embedded in the bottom of the tire when I took it off. It was about two inches long and very sharp when they showed it to me after they extracted it.
