[12:18 AM EST - Last weekend update.]

Oh wow, I forgot to mention that we went to Ottawa last last weekend. On Friday, MJNL came over to my workplace because we wanted to drive to Ottawa that night and did not want to add any more travel time by going back home. Traffic was pretty bad most of the way there and we were usually in the thick of traffic. We stopped off at Wendy's for dinner at Kingston, and I got sick right after the meal. (The frosty still tasted good though.)

We had no problems finding the house with my dad's GPS, and despite wanting to go straight to bed, we stayed up and chatted for a few hours.

The next day, we had a quick English egg muffin before getting dropped off by JF at the Currency Museum. We spent quite some time there before reaching the Rideau Canal to try out some beaver tail and skating down the canal. We met up with Nen and JF and went back to their place to change and get ready for dinner. We went to Le Café at the National Arts Centre. The meal was pretty good and we took some pictures of our food.

The Winterlude festivities were also taking place at that time, but the view from our table was not so good, and the sound was so muffled that we were mostly getting the bass, which I got used to after a while, although it took away from any live entertainment value.

On Sunday, we had a gigantic brunch with the rest of the family before heading out to the Mint. We came back for a nice seafood dinner and showed off some Russell Peter's videos.

We got up late on Monday, but Nen and JF had to work, so we did not get to see them today. The two of us did, however, hop across the border and grabbed some yummy 'poutine' for lunch before heading back home.
