[12:07 PM EDT - Net working.]

Some of my network connections have been acting flaky today making work a little more difficult. I've been wondering what work was like before networks and computers and the like. I mean.. what did they do? We are becoming more and more dependent on these gadgets that we're creating that make our lives "easier" that if ever that infrastructure goes, we'll be up a creek so to speak.

It's a little worrisome and makes me wonder what the future will hold.

ARRRRGHHHH
How can we fight the power? Sheesh. Here's the problem. Our phone number is nearly identical to DeVry's. For *years*, we've been getting numbskulls calling our house looking for DeVry because they dialled the phone number wrong. Okay, so NOW, Telus mobility has PUBLISHED a yellow pages where if you look under DeVry, lo and behold, you see OUR HOME number. Not only will we get a billion more numbskulls, but NOW we'll have to INSTRUCT every one of them on DeVry's ACTUAL phone number or else they'll just keep calling us back. Last I checked, we've had our phone number since 1979. I'm seriously thinking we might have to change our number. Get one of those crazy 647 numbers.

grrr.
okay, as you were. :)

girl,
you can always tell Telus that there is an error on the yellow pages. they will actually PAY you! (Read the terms and conditions - I think there is an error clause for Bell phone books)
