For those keeping track, I have finally got back to pruning my music library and am down to 4486 songs now. I need MJNL's input to go through her list of songs. She has collected quite a set from her friends and there is some overlap (like the pop and top 40 stuff) but her tastes lean more towards rap and R&B while mine lean more towards dance and adult contemporary. (Oh yes, and my anime and soundtrack collection.)
Oh yes, so the reason for the post. Well, MJNL and I have been taking boxing lessons. We started a couple of months ago and MJNL really likes it. It is one of the few sports that we both seem to enjoy, so we try to make it out as often as possible. Well, we missed the last month of classes due to various reasons and were worried that we would start back at square one, but we did not suffer as badly as we thought we would.
During one of the exercises, we were punching each others' gloves. She had her glove in front of her face for one punch and got smacked. Well, that night, she was complaining how I punched her in the face, and I told her not to hold her fist in front of her face next time or she would punch herself. To which she replied,
"Oh yeah? Let me show you!"
At which point she put my right hand in front of my face and proceeded to punch it.
I resisted the first punch but the second one pushed my fist into my nose. I then had a runny nose, so I got some facial tissue to blow it. When the mucus came out a lot darker than expected (the lights were off), I realized that she gave me a nose bleed! Pre-spousal abuse I say!
*shakes fist*
