MJNL was not feeling too well this morning so I went to work on my own and came back early to check on her. I was also a little worried that I might be sick so we did not go to my parents' for dinner.
In any case, MJNL had her and BL's bridal shower on Saturday. I ended up helping out on Friday and then on Saturday putting up signs on the road. We had made four signs, three pointing left, and one pointing right. It took me an hour to put up the first three signs with masking tape. By the time I put up the last one, I was already sweating through my shirt (it was quite sunny and warm). To top it off, when I was putting up the sign, the arrow was pointing in the opposite direction..
What the..
That means that I probably screwed up one of the other signs! (And I could have sworn that I had double checked each sign already.) Oh no! I had to go and check out all of the other signs. So I spent the next ten minutes driving around to the other signs, only to find out the other three signs were correct..
So apparently they made two lefts and two rights, so I had to go back to the house to get it fixed, before putting the sign back up again. Bah, so it took twice as long as expected.
But the girls had a good time, and look at all of the loot! When she pointed out the pile of stuff to cram into the car, I thought it was their combined presents, but no, it was just her's. Well, ours I guess!
The next day, we had Thanksgiving dinner with MJNL's family. The whole family did come out so we had a good time and lots of food to eat.
