MJNL and I had a busy day today. We set up a movie night with Growly, EG, one of their friends, Werdna, and Laz. However, MJNL and I had some errands to run, which I figured was no problem since we had three hours before we had to pick up Werdna. Well, apparently commuting takes quite a bit of time.
First we went to Shopper's Drug Mart near us, only to find out that their 20x points thing was yesterday. Then we went to Yorkdale to pick up some dresses which may not be the right sizes, and since they're on clearance, they will not order any more. Then we went to Vaughan Mills to return something. Then we went grocery shopping in Scarborough. Finally we went to pick up Werdna. We were a little late. Then we had to go home to drop off our groceries, and even after not purchasing the tickets, we were even more late for dinner. So we missed our movie as well, but since there were many showings, we just caught another one, although it was in 2D.
So 'Kung Fu Panda 2' was a fun movie to watch. It was darker than the first but still had quite a number of funny moments. Not as funny as 'Bridesmaids', but still worthwhile to watch.
After the movie, we had dessert at Spin Desserts (pretty tasty!) before going home.
