One of the longest check ins at an airport that I have been in in a long time. The security was extremely tight for some reason. Shoes off, full body search, and bags checked. I did not get stopped, but the lady in front of me did, which held up the entire line (of just a few people). Imagine how long I would have had to wait if it were busy?
We arrived early at Dallas-Fort Worth, but the gate was in use by another plane, so we spent all that extra time sitting on the tarmac. Apparently the flight to San Diego is full, so there might be some space issues. *eyes banner*
The flight was actually uneventful. There was enough space for my banner since it was smaller than most of the other carry on luggage that people were bringing in.
I tried to get some sleep, but it was broken and fitful. I was tired when we arrived, and wanted to sleep. I went to the hotel and had some food in the hotel restaurant. It was fairly tasty, although a little expensive. I did eventually get the rest I wanted though.
