[Wednesday, January 13, 2010: Grill time.]

MJNL and I had a surprise dinner birthday to go to tonight for one of her cousins at the Korean Grill House. The plan was to arrive early so that we can make our six-thirty reservation and surprise the birthday girl.

Well, even after getting lost, I was the first to arrive. I inquired about the reservation was directed to a table full of people I did not recognize. I asked the people there if they were here for the party, and one of them told me that they belonged to a different group.

Hmm, I guess maybe it was the next table? I checked the people at the neighboring table. The girl I talked to shook her head. Since I did not recognize any body there, I headed back and asked another waiter about the reservation, who promptly pointed me back to the first table.

Okay, so something is wrong here, but I do not know who was attending, nor did I know if I know the ones who were attending, I decided to wait it out.

Well, eventually more people arrived, and what happened was another group of people had come earlier, but were bigger than they had planned. (I think there were twenty of them.) For some reason they got seated at our table, and thus the confusion. Well, they got shuffled off, and we were able to sit down at the table that was reserved for us.

Well, the meal was pretty cheap, but the quality of the food.. was not the best. You do get what you pay for. At least I was full by the end of the night.

We headed out to JW's place after the meal. Most of the group were planning on going clubbing but MJNL and I decided to go home. We stopped off at their apartment to check it out though, and I got to try on some night vision goggles. Neat toy!
