MJNL and I were walking around the neighborhood last night when we noticed a police motorcycle riding up the road. Then another, then another, then we noticed that most of them had their flashing lights on, and realized that something was going on. I was able to get my camera out quick enough to grab a quick video:

Does anyone have any idea who it could have been?

Hmm, two possibilities:

A) It actually was some VIP who's in town for a super secret visit -- in which case we'll probably never know who it was.

B) A security drill for the upcoming G8/G20 summit?

Oh wait, the Aga Khan was in town to launch a museum and worship complex near Wynford Dr. and the DVP. Apparently he was also granted an honourary citizenship by the PM in an afternoon ceremony. Where were you when you took the video?
