[8:56 AM EST - Break.]

Whoops, another week and only one entry again. I am getting pretty bad at this! First aid went by relatively quickly this past weekend. We were scheduled for the entire weekend, but they could have packed everything into a single day, considering how early we left from class both days! We did, however, get some shopping done, and MJNL was pretty happy browsing the stores, even though they had already started to get unbearably busy.

We had dinner with Jeanious and Nando's Flame-Grilled Chicken on Sunday. I thought the name sounded familiar. I had been to Nando's before, in Brampton! During lunch while I was out working in Brampton, a few of us sometimes went out looking for something different, and there was a Nando's that was about a ten minute drive away from the site.

I still opted for the lowest spicy foods though.

MJNL had an interview on Tuesday so she did not come out to badminton on Monday, and then we went shopping for groceries because MJNL wanted to try making some Jamaican rice, which turned out really well (although the bottom got burnt). On Wednesday night we hooked up with most of her family and some visiting cousins down at Canyon Creek Chophouse, the same one we went to for Pokey's birthday party years ago. The food was tasty, and there was so much! If I had only eaten less for lunch I would have been able to finish my dessert. As it stands however, nobody was able to finish their dessert, and I honestly was not planning on gaining several pounds just so that the food was all consumed. My days of food 'freeganism' are coming to an end?

After dinner, MJNL went back to her parent's place so I had the condo all to myself. I ended up finishing up the rest of 'Rome (TV Series)', which took quite a long time. The series is good, although probably too much sex and violence for most viewers. Those who know Roman history will probably note some differences between this dramatic portrayal and what the scholars believed happened at that time, or would have already known the outcome to most of the events so climaxes weren't.

I also noticed that there was only one real battle that was filmed. I guess it was too expensive to film battle scenes, and with an already massive budget, they focused on other areas. Still a good show to watch IMNSHO.

Tonight I'm going to Brampton for dinner. I should be going to work now.

You left food on the table? You didn't even finish your own dessert? You've changed, man. ;-)
