Man, I have not been doing anything on this site for a week? Well, the links do not count.
Anyway, I just got back from the St. Lawrence Market. I went down to pick up some maple syrup. I had planned to get some dark syrup, but apparently this past winter was not cold enough so there was basically no dark syrup produced. The strongest they had was amber, so I got two bottles. In hindsight, I probably should have gotten some dark the last time I picked up syrup two years ago, but oh well.
MJNL and I went to watch 'We Will Rock You (musical)' and it was fun to watch. They threw in a lot of modern and Canadian references into the show that the audience understood. The dancing and choreography was nothing to write about (although I just did - gah), but the songs were good.
My alarm did not go off on Friday morning, so I was pretty lucky when I got up on my own with enough time to brush my teeth and get to work only ten minutes late. Just in time for the crazy patching fiesta that was going on to stop a virus that was just released that morning.
Okay, I should make brunch now.
